Our story begins in Cotui, Dominican Republic with two sisters who learned how to make hair relaxer out of curiosity which turned out to be a HIT! These sisters shared their talents and soon there was a line of women ready to get their hair done with the hair care specialists at "Mama Tonas".

The daughter of one of these women unknowingly took the same steps and went to cosmetology school specializing in HAIR. As she gained knowledge and experience, she formed a loyal clientele that went to her for hair products recommendations, hair coloring, haircuts, and other hair care necessities. 

By fate it seems like Ms. Espino's daughter also took an interest in hair care. Growing up she would make hair mask (no matter how stinky) and give friends hair mask recipes to try. She would spend time mixing things the strangest (natural) things together and putting it in her hair. 

After a trip to the motherland OdaRizos was born, inspired by the stillness and pureness of the country. The warm sun hitting your skin while sitting on mountain top surrounded by sweet views and sounds of nature.
