not necessarily blind for the heart knows

love carries parts of your soul
things you can't unfold with lust alone
lust as in luster, everything that shines isn't gold
yet even gold can lose its lust once it becomes old
but does that mean we trade the gold for chocolate coins
see when you follow the plan
you are bound to meet true love
and that's when the lust comes again drizzled in pride
perhaps you want to marry that super rich guy
but deep down you know he will help your soul die
pull you back in into the things you set aside
perhaps you want to have a bachelor type of life
they come and they go and your heart remains closed
true love will test you
true love can pass you by
take the plank out your own eye

in love, sweetness, kindness, laughter
im not afraid of what comes after
fully submerged into Gods plan
if i must wait i'll wait

i rather go for long walks instead
i rather live a quite life instead
i rather struggle than take a cheap route simply to get ahead

we must let Gods love work in our hearts too

it's a forever type of thing not a dread

a curious heart slightly afraid of the dark
love is that light that says follow me you'll be alright
lust wants you when you're "put together"
love wants you in the stormiest of weathers

he wants more for you than what's fleeting
he wants you to experience him, his love in all things
that is why food grows on trees
