The Unknown In The Knowing

It won’t take long

You can hear the drums

But you must look deeper to know where it’s from

We eat from the trees

But how blind are we indeed to not honor the ones

Whom planted the seeds

New energy is new because it hasn’t been tainted like the rest

Blemish free society are the young indeed

However they too have an unknown you see

That’s the unknown in the knowing

“Your energy should be high you are young and that’s why”

But there’s unknowns in your knowing

Much like the prophets that spoke for his glory

There’s unknowns in his story

Moses wrote the commandments the people saw the glory indeed

But to be certain in God only in the unknown are you shivering

The knowing is a Psalm 23

The fear comes with the unknown

Grateful Jesus sits on the throne

His yolk is light no matter how heavy I wanna be

Sitting in the unknown when the words that comfort me are in the knowing

Makes me angry, sad but this is fleeting

Jesus died for me

So I can age beautifully

slowly rotting away

Living for his glory
